A form of public protests, a nonviolent campaign could take advantage of smart contracts and decentralized pseudonymised blockchains.
For example an issue for protests may raise a campaign on a platform where users can set up a contract of non-communication and non-engagement in business against agents of aggression or complicitors to injustice and then propagate that protest so that the aggressors would be castigated and hopefully "sent to Coventry" by popular vote/support and distributed counterattack to the aggressors' wrongdoings.
Two important issues are raised, first the protesters have to limit their counterattacks to reasonable levels cutting off water or sanitation needs may be overly excessive, and it may be difficult to define what is reasonable for a just punishment and secondly what would form a deterrent against wrongdoings when would the counterattack itself be of unjust nature against a minority group.
