How to overcome the 1% in a nonviolent way

Apply a hoodwink system on them that they have placed on us:
The 99% are made to think that they are unable to be uplifted into the riches while the media provides a deluge of affirmations for the grand desire to consume more as a sign of riches.
What if it would be possible to provide a show, a spectacle, a charade for the rich 1%of1% where every rich person continues to believe that they run the world, that their businesses are booming, that they have an ever growing bank balance and assets far outweigh their liabilities. When this meme takes over every member of the 1%of1% and the illusion becomes total, suddenly the truth is revealed, the carpet is pulled from underneath their feet - that everyone else is already living better than them, that the economy has "collapsed," that they have lost it all, that the people below them are suppressed no longer, that they no longer crave for the consumer fix, they are no longer "asleep", stressed, aggravated, depressed, and in cognitive deficit. Where the 99% are now self-reliant and awoke!
The number of people in the 1%of1% is 30000. Creating this spectacle would be a grand undertaking. But remember that they are already running a show on us the 99%. It would be an artful exercise and a great intellectual undertaking, an undertaking of the old system. A superhack on the social system. This would be the performance that changes the form of society completely and transforms history itself.

In short: blinker the seers to make us see the world in their eyes when their blinkers are removed.

Something that I thought was ridiculous, a topic from psychoanalysis, may well be proven to be a real thing in the brain. There seems to be a correlate and even flies have it!
So it seems hidden among our thoughts because it speaks the same language that we do! That way this inner critic seems like the same thing as other streams of thoughts in our normal consciousness. But it is very different. When it works we think more about our activities' effects and outcomes - we reflect on the future. Aside from avoiding stress this way we can obviate various problems that may come to us, from whatever sphere of life that we care to think about.  

Revolution as a Product

From Che posters on T-shirts to Richard Branson using the same symbols, to Russell Brand touting Marxist Revolution - the revolution has been productised, merchandised. What for?
There most be more to it than just a brand with a recognisable sign and my guess is that we could be heading for a failed revolution as business megaproject - for the prison complex. There are some alarmists from economists to sociologists who herald or perhaps foresee the doom.  Everyone who is going to participate will be imprisoned in the modern gulags of the surveillance dystopias - formerly named the Free World.

Poverty of the Spirit in PC Games

First I thought of titling this piece poverty of the mind ...
I was thinking of the various connections of the pc games as soon-to-be the main propaganda channels for the Establishment - if they are not that already, and how each different genre matches an evil in the Establishment. Kids are being prepared for the spectacle that life really is. Not only do these games curiously lack  future vision and are therefore impoverishments for the mind, they do reflect an amped up version of the current reality and they also program their customers for certain industries. These future customers are formed, weaned and herded like the cattle.

1. 4X Strategies and FPS / Military Recruitment , Military Industrial Complex
2. Crime games / Prison Industrial Complex, The current US per capita rate is worse than the darkest days of the Soviet Gulags. Kids are being prepared for the spectacle that is life.
3. Space Sim / ??? -  these games lack any insight on the possibility for empathy based technologies that may well appear in the future, so wars are a still a major theme, just shooting and maneuvering in space seems very lame in an age where even cars are going driverless and the powerful militaries are building autonomous killing robots.
4. RPGs / mostly centered on wars and fighting, whether with magic or sword

There is so much fighting and wars and looting in games that in other words calculates to a complete loss of the chance for the perfectible nature of the human existence. 

Forbidden Wisdom

Well, when I was around 20 I spoke to a man who spoke of a book where every page would lead to a new level of understanding and power but would require that you destroyed the previous page to get to understand the next one.  I never saw the book. But when I saw this poem it suddenly clicked.
Around the time I was reading and interpreting the Halliwell manuscript  -  a combination of two masonic texts that contains the 15 articles and 15 points. They also refer to seven sciences important for the education of a mason.

A few readings of the poem:
You can only study the book if you do not dedicate the study to the beast (perhaps the beast of egoism in you) otherwise you lose your peace. It gives such power, perhaps.

If you dedicate the book study to the beast you cannot study.

What is destroyed the book or the beast. Does the book help to destroy the beast?

Continued forbidden study robs you of your peace.

Continued study starts a war or a lack of peace of mind? War with the beast? Torments by the beast?

What can you read once and then not anymore? A puzzle has this nature. Once it is broken you have the solution. You cannot look at the puzzle again the same way until you forget the solution! When you solve the puzzle and the solution is presented  - then you have peace.

What if the beast rather than egoism, is the savage without education? Peace is then for the educated.

Result was something else: the beast was Horus the book, The Book of Law by Aleister Crowley... The book was somewhat forbidden in the then christian world...

Stupidity Property Laws

Where DRM appliances are sold to people, and they buy it up, that are based on intellectual property laws! I thought of the property based on stupidity. How the media and entertainment industries - the arms of the military driven propaganda mechanism, are now set to create stupid media and very low value games.

1. Create some stupidity property
2. Find others to stupefy with your product
3. Sell the stupid products to the stupid customers
4. Use the proceeds to treat you to other stupid makers' stupid products 
5. Repeat until in stupor 

Films and Stress Induced Cognitive Deficit(SICD)

They Live and The Matrix are films that highlight two things an epiphany and a revelation of the true nature of being. Both echo the many spiritual traditions. Every religion benefits from the wisdom of its philosophers after all.
At the same time the nature of the actual being and what appears as the being have a difference very similar to the capitalist / Marxist divide. On one hand people are free to pursue prosperity and wealth while on the other hand the workers who actually are working to produce the things get a very small amount from the actual sale of the produce as their wage. Exploitation is the flip-side of every cent of profit. People do not pursue private enterprise because they can't put together a starting capital nor have an option to take out a loan for starting a business. So most people are kept in their condition of minimum wage so that they would work for a wage and produce a profit for those who are in an ownership of an enterprise.  What keeps them in this socially conditioned social behaviour is stress. A very cunning illness that makes people lack the necessary intelligence to ameliorate themselves out of their own condition of misery. Furthermore it keeps people in their familiar routines and behaviours enforced by a list of constant threats and fears and stress maintenance. It is an epiphany when you understand that a large part of your product is removed from you, as if by a mystery with your express permission and agreement, that most people are never in a position to reverse the terms or offer the same pattern onto others to liberate themselves from the necessary conditioned behaviours and drudgeries of work sustained by ongoing cognitive blindness while stress perpetuates the work.

... Tomorrowland comes in and kind of reverses the idea of revelation - it has been a fantastic world but then someone brought in the hoodwinks for all, made them forget it and consequently they think that the world is awful and worse: about to end.

There are many films of this type which portray sudden insight into the nature of a system.


It would be interesting to have a film where SICD is discovered and the enlightened programmers are given a magic touch by their newly awakened consciousness, just by shedding off all stressors and growing the doors of their perception. This may look a lot like Limitless

Every human who has ever been on the Third Level of Consciousness seeks to regain it or maintain it with serenity and buffering themselves from the noisy, quarrelsome rabble. Many humans who have experienced the Fourth Level of Consciousness would like to bring others to light on the nature of society and social being and to find others. There is no technology required for it. One just needs dedication and this very insight: without stress human soul blossoms in a display of joyous growth of executive functions; with it one remains dumbed down and blind to it to boot.

War as Divine

In pantheism war is one of the archetypes - an inescapable pattern of life, a paradigm of mass behaviour forged into place with tradition. Yet it somewhat reappears more subdued and veiled in monotheism in the Wrath of God, his anger at the wrongdoings of man for example. Wars have not been eliminated from history with the salvation brought by faith in God or baptism. It is very difficult to match the core religious idea of progress in morality and virtues with the reality of wars as historical means of solving a conflict. War is not divine. Vedic culture has been a good example where the interpretation ethical living according to canon was changing and the concept of Ahimsa - nonviolence was brought to the point of the highest ideal. Yet this canon is not free of wars - The Bhagavadgita begins with it.

Politics without politics

The culmination of the globalism brings to the scene and then propagates a spectacle where
democracies are severely famished of real diversity, and even of real identities. Britain, US, Germany have at best donned the hats of two parties for most of the postwar period. What a poverty and misery of political landscapes!
The second thought is of the misrepresentation of party through image design by public relations. The party that draws the support of the nationalist voters claims to be a liberal party in Russia. The party that continues the support it has inherited has continued much in the veins of conservative politics of the 80s in Britain and completely gave up on the promises and ideals of the social democrats. Estonia as an example has parties that are neither social democratic (the SDE), liberal (Reformi), nor center right (IRL). The claim is one the policies are something else entirely. There is no law that keeps parties from misrepresenting their product to their party members and voters.

Castration of Reason

Removal of the potential to mentally satisfy the self.
What no one dares to speak of. The halt to thinking seems so alien and unperceivable to the thinker and so feared that it does not appear.
I do not speak of meditation, I think of its opposite: stupor due to substance abuse. There is also another way: to provide the worst media programming that has no effect at all on will to truth, desire to know and the love of knowledge. Ideology and its propaganda.

Class war: the Two Fronts

Lumpen vs Lower Class

The violence in domestic and sexual abuse that limits growth, education, personal mastery and social mobility. The greed inherent in this social relation is fueled in great part by alcohol and substance abuse. The tendency in the lumpen class to want more is fueled and steered by the upper class to put additional pressure on the working class. The process of amelioration of the individual economic standing is advertised, programmed into the individual on every level, along with it the fear of losing the little one owns. Also the act of saturday shopping binge in an orgy of consumerism that blinds one from the true state of reality (exploitation and suffering) is an act that carries a risk to lose the properties purchased due to crime from the lumpen. It is also an act of frivolous, manic gambling.

Upper Class vs Lower Class

The upper class gain from the adversities and the misery of various addictions and compulsions. The lower class (the modern service workers) is on the receiving end of the following list:

Capitalism causes stress

Stress is the tool used by capitalism to keep people in wage-slavery and poverty while they still run to work, protect the wealth of the rich and so on. Because stress and anxiety reduces the person's higher cognitive functions - in fact cutting them off in many cases completely.
  So it employs the mechanism stress-makes-stupid(stress induced cognitive dysfunction) to keep itself in business. People do not wake up from this even though everyone who gets it is days away from a cure!

It is also possible that the stress mentioned as a result of capitalist-globalist practices in Thailand is also there in any change of state of the economic structure. Indeed one can draw parallels with the extreme persistent anxiety in the totalitarian societies or oppressed colonies.

Reverse Engineering Alienation

Alienation is one of the core antipatterns of capitalism. As it is possible that capitalism is here to stay. If it can self-correct and improve on the present condition then the revolution, should it be inevitable without such a cure, may be obviated. Not quite saying that there is possibility to solve the grand problem of capitalism - the class "warfare."

One of the main causes of drudgery and boring routine at work is the inherent alienation. So could that be solved by the opposite process of humanisation?

Investment in emotionally charging work with drive for happiness could be derived from gamification of work. Also another path needs to be the creative empowerment of lower skill personnel, so that they are exposed to the creative processes in improving the business and the products and services as contributors. That would also incentivise lifelong education. 

Dreams- Liberal and Progressive.

There are a set of dreams in the liberal discourse. I loosely paraphrase Trainspotting here...Choose life  Get a mortgage. Marry. Get 2.4 children. A career. A pension. A car and so on. In the liberal myopic view and, they could be more elaborate dreams, they set themselves to oppose to the nothingness in the leftist discourse. However all of that is already an aim but it is a dream for all to get it in the left. Plus to get it there must be emancipation. A dream that it could happen for all.  

Beliefless Believers

To believe in a higher power seems to have actually waned in most cultures and religions. Instead the faith is propagated without people actually in their heart cultivating religious sentiments - they do not even have the means or tools to do it. The world in this sense is doubly irrational.

Zizek's coffee without caffeine, sex without sex etc. has the final great culmination - belief without believers.

If we consider that as a pathology then I certainly am ill with it. I am a belief free believer.

Further: I cannot seem to transcend this paradox. The closest I get is to see God as a manifold of archetypes. A combination of Kant and Jung. Then the illusion of seeing itself goes in a Hegelian way only to reappear as an apparition of itself. If I am incorrect to think this way I am also sorry, but I am also incapable and powerless of anything better.

Where do children come from?

The initial inquieries about life start with the basics. But this essential question is often left out of the domain of philosophy and relegated to biology.
Making philosophy biological is quite a trend, however.

A hobgoblin, spectre or a spirit?

Not so sure why Marx was into the supernatural and fictional so much, but he did start the Manifesto with the idea of such being in mind.
Helen Macfarlane translated the concept as hobgoblin, usually provided as spectre later on.
I have often thought of the proximity with Hegel's Spirit of the Times. The motivator and gist of the moment in history. The Now. The mass psychological sum of humanity as brought to here by its thought and philosophy-ideology.
Perhaps it is a spirit, but why is it demonic? Why is there a need to present The Spirit of the Times as an evil. Such an attitude represents the generated hate against the powers that be by the little men with lots of power - the hobgoblins. That rather than a fair, just, emancipating force.
The evil represents the blindness of emotional attack laid on, or perhaps formed and kibitzed, even agitated on by the revolutionaries. Soothsaying of the doom by a hand of evil turned out to be evil incarnate itself and not a spectre at all.
The spirit has transformed our society that has been transforming the spirit in eternal endless reflexivity. The chaos has subsided - for a bit. And the spectre? - asleep.

Science and seance

Interestingly I recently mistakenly thought that the two words science and seance share a common ancestor. I was wrong. While one begins with sitting the other referred to knowledge that can be shared. Sitting however makes one think of zen and science perhaps matches dharma (the body of knowledge in Buddhism.) Science has been illuminating our world since the Antiquity and long before science was coined as a word.
However initial science in the early 19th century was mostly to the public a show - a seance.

Leaning against the method

Lakatos is dead. Long live the idea that there is a scientific method.
A reason why Feyerabend might be wrong lies in the possibility that as well as the scientific body of knowledge developing so does the scientific method itself so even if one attempts a monist understanding of the method one fails as soon as the scientific method is improved on. That will certainly look like there is no pattern but from new paradigms one can view the world better. Emerald glasses perhaps?
Yet the use of the free spirit and the attitude of anything goes is vital for progress. Suddenly much of the absurdity goes away.
The reason where Feyerabend is right however is his brilliant insight and way of a retelling of the old archetypal story of escaping the old route trodden ad nauseum, the method - to make way for an advance, to see the light that shines everything in a new light - a simple principle.

Technological grounds

For the occurrence of communism on the basis of each member getting what they need while each member puts in what they want , one needs the technology to empower productivity to the point where one person could single-handedly take care of the needs of a cell in such a society for its needs. There is necessity for a willingness by every member to cover that duty at least without sacrificing more than 20 hours per week.
Such an ultraproductive state would achieve much more however...
Since these two limits are set we can make a guess when communism can arrive if we assume continuing social and  economic progress.

To know what we state or ...

It certainly seems reasonable to know everything we can know about the statements we utter. Is it, however reasonable to say what is without knowing it all.
It is possible we have not yet attained knowing of a certain fact, but in the process of argument or even a monologue one comes to it. Such knowledge by insight does happen occasionally. Just recently I attempted to convince my friend of his error when I suddenly understood my own mistake. The endeavour concluded with an insight of just such a nature!

An Inaudible Rumble of Being

I personally see the Tao as not just a mystery but something of an explosion of everything, that accompanies a large noise - the Rumble. Nonetheless this noise is paradoxically totally inaudible. And yet it is here, since the Big Bang. Most of it is a vacuum and hence dead silent. Some of it is therefore noise and chaos. Or even to some extent a tune.
