The most common illness

The most common illness is not stress(hypertension and common colds are some of its forms of appearance), it is caused by stress, it is automatism. Automatism brackets practically every symptom. I see communism as a kind of illness (communism as spectre - spectre as spirit - bad spirit as a cause of illness in folk idealism) where an attempt is made to give everyone an automatism so that central planning can drive progress. An argument for automatism driven communism as an inoculation against an even worse case - capitalism, comes to mind. Automatism is a ritual which has lost its signification.
Is automatism run by, like an automaton, a secret actor in the box serving its functions while hiding its being? In this case signification is re-exploited. Persons with automatism are exploited by others who have automatisms of their own.
Finally there is a cure - a sanatorium with plenty of novelty input and creative as well as cognitive development. Automatism is vanquished and a person can return to creative life. Perhaps another setting for such healthcare should be a start-up.

Antiviolence

Žižek writes the On violence, it seems, as a challenge for others to pick up a fight on. Yet the very attempt to counter would be violent and thus would fail. I do see a flaw there. Yet this flaw is a break in my own ego already violated by the symptom of violence(anger).
On the other hand this antithesis is perhaps blooming to give fruit to a strong thesis for its opposites: peace and compassion.
Perhaps violence is needed, but compassion, mutual aid and pacifism are needed much more.

  • //... something about personification of violence and therefore it becomes a futile ghost; violence is
  • //committed by men not a historical force(quote from Marx, MoC).

On the street

People are on the streets in the US; where the third world inspires a consciousness in the first world.
Yet there may be an epistemological blind spot that makes people address the Wall Street as the spot of evil, thus not knowing in reality more than a spirited chant colouring the sit ins and occupations of the streets. The system is corrupt. It maybe so deluged in its own right mechanisms that what is left in the suffering of the common man and the method of taxation by inflation that is likely to be dawning on us.

What if this chant is just grounded on an illusion and the real question is about socialist overspending going through a collapse?

Joy slavery

Just as there is a wage slavery I see a slavery to joy. Characterised by the need for instant gratification, blind to the wellbeing of the slaves and their needs outside the objects of desire and eventual dereliction.

Actor of Desire and the Object of Desire

Freud uses the term of object of desire. This is a materialist view of the desire. It is wanting. But it makes it possible to see transference and forms a part of the theory fetishism.
The desire is always being facilitated or being a target of an actor or an agent of desire. Borrowing from programming terminology it is possible to use the concepts of an actor - someone who acts on the objects and its environment and an agent - someone who facilitates changes in objects or brings new objects to the environment.
It brings about the desire, its work on itself forms the contemplations and the drive for the Other.

Lifelogging our emotions

About ten years or so after lifelogging becomes available to everyman there will be software that analyse our emotions and their connection to environment or social engagements. These analyses provide insight into our and our friend's relationships. Hints of our intentions can be derived.

Class war and class peace

Class war does not come to an end when one of the classes is destroyed. It comes to a an end when it cannot bifurcate into new classes that antagonise each other thus perpetuating the war and when the owner's class cannot any further mask itself as anything other than an exploiter.

Class war comes to an end when one sides dominates the means of production of the means of the war and the other side's recourse to such production is blocked, when a class peace is created.

Class peace has two roads. Either the means of production have been ceased or created by the workers for themselves or the aristocracy of labour has been constructed.

Terror and Tuition

War is a tuition on society with very high fees, the tuition educates the society to emphasize peace. Gradually this peace fetishism fades from the consciousness of the public. It is no more taught and a new reason for war brings about a consummating cause. The cause could be orchestrated by a game for war. Is there no learning, no sudden or gradual event of understanding. If the Great Nations wage war in perpetuation, how does the undoing of the lesson develop? The immediate lesson here is the pain of destruction and fear of losing the war. There may be other lessons and meanings especially the various justifications, but these are veils upon the actuality of pain and suffering. Humans have a short memory it seems for some subjects, for others it gets progressively better in the methods and applications of the strategies of war.

Pacification - and the beginning of the process of peace

If machology in Emanuel Lasker's Kampf is a forerunner of games theory of von Neumann, then observation of a sublimation of theory of war as imminent in the view of the world converted into games becomes an insight into a historical change. Games theory was used to avoid war. It is designed to be among the necessary tools of pacification of the world.

Games theory can be used here and now and it would be a more general and universal method than its application to solve the problems of war.
