Exploitation is formed first in the mind of the kid when a superstitious dream identifies money with spending ability, rather than rent seeking or profiteering.
Exploitation creates a block to progress a limitation to becoming wealthy, even losing the dream of achieving prosperity.
Exploitation is the running-wheel, the tramline of behaviours, the lifestyles providing everything necessary to keep the people passively consuming in increasing amounts. Consuming without a tool to create wealth.
The second running wheel is the run for profit, the creation of wealth through exploitation. Here running grinds and transmutes one type of capital into other for the profit of the runners. Though they may be running faster they do nothing but run. Their existence is squeezed for meaning.
(That seems to me exponential and faster growth than wealth making by cooperation.)
There is a third running wheel, perhaps the most difficult of them all, that is exploitation of nations through history: statebuilding. The runners being people like Jefferson, Madison, Bismarck and Lenin. Politics of economy engineering and design is created in this wheel. To run the first and second wheels.
The point is not to advance from one wheel to another but to break out of the cage.
