Living success

I see there being two kinds of capital ; thanatophilic and biophilic capitals mirroring the two possible lifestyles and drives of humans.

Thanatophilic Capital
TC a type of capital that engages the consumer in life destructive behaviour or is directly conducive of ill health, aging and depression. Examples, are cigarettes, alcohol, extreme sports, use of toxic materials for production, nonrenewable fuels, diesel powered public transport.

Biophilic Capital

BC sustains life and human health as well as helps to renew and develop life.
Examples are Education, Health, Insurance(safety standards), Food, Sports, Nutrigenomics, Development.

Rosa Luxemburg described in her view of capitalism how it cannot pay for the running of the next generation. That would be a Thanatophilic Capital excess eating into Biophilic Capital.

Awareness of Limits

I observed myself of how I cannot assign complexity for some simple questions, when they have been designed for the lowest common denominator for broad understanding, so that questions might be thought of as tools for learning or understanding(and therefore boring). So this is interesting at the time I am cornered and helpless in a way. Every object has 12 types of connections So there must be a quick way to it.
ANd the limits that induce boredom might be overcome.

Two federated states and their Grand Scheme

First is a plot of divide and conquer
  1. Intrusive immigration
  2. Deportation
  3. Breakaway state/disputed territories
  4. Puppet government
  5. Provocation of aggression
Every state involved in the Soviet Union has some areas that might be disputed. The legacy is turned into a dubious asset. The cost of relocating the people to Russia is lower than the combined losses from - trade loss, foreign reserve decline, troop costs. It is also immoral in its incompatibility with principles of human rights.

Second touches the way to fund and perhaps control the wealth of the world.
  1. Devaluation
  2. Privatisation - formation of tradeable equity
  3. Free market - free investment (outflow of domestic production)
  4. Free market - open imports (increase in unemployment)
  5. Increased tariffs
See the effects of the suggestions of IMF and how these turn into antipatterns for the subjects and sources of income for the rich nations.

My personal view in here; I like to think of myself as a realist and I believe that the economy has a rational tendency to gravitate towards win-win systems which is mirrored in my Benevolent business post.

Predictions about capitalism

Communists had a list of predictions that described what was to happen to capitalism. Marx came out with the following
  1. Rising prices of produce
  2. Reduction of the number of managers
  3. Cost of machinery increases production costs
  4. Increased unemployment

Luxembourg had some new ones
  1. Inability to procreate and pay for the next generation (reduction of population)
(UNFINISHED)

Omnilateral economic considerations

US needs to take the concerns of all nations into account in forming policy and foreign policy on any nations in the G8+1 it seems to me that they are looking out for personal interest and pragmatics on every level.

Environmental holism is another parallel concept to this. One part of the environmental influence has to take others into account.

Dependence on autocracies

If democracies need certain countries to stay supplying critical produce to them, it might be thought that autocracies would be more reliable than democracies in being willing servants.
Indonesia and Iran and Nicaragua are examples.

Democracy does have a prerogative of noninterference in the affairs of other states. The treaty of Westphalia is the precedent for this way of thinking.

Economy and the missing pieces

It seemed that there is something missing - one pays the nation for an economy in tax contributions. This however does pay for furthering the insecurity of the state. As it powers in most countries the military industrial complex. The economy is not supported for its existence by any mechanism to secure it into the future. Eventually there is war. That drags down the economy. Then there is a boom and another armsrace.
If one looks at economy in terms of exploitation (I do not) then I have seen no one view the imperative of self financed military service of Greek and Roman citizens.

Having weapons means that they have targets, in another way weapons form the enemies. So the investments in "security" in fact reduce it.
Economy is still set to run around the collapses due to wars. One can believe that setting it on other grounds is basis for a more successful economy.

Increasing the number of investors in an economy towards a majority would be one way of overcoming the poverty, that has only partial trend in societies, however it is a very long term trend.

The second missing piece is the effect of the depletion of environment and disequilibriation of ecology. Workers health drops as the industry pollutes. Consumers suffer in parallel and greater number.

The drive out of poverty is the drive for economy

I thought of proposing that the force to increase economic growth is the tendency to reduce and nearly eliminate poverty.

This is pointed at by the stop in economic growth after these conditions are met. So the rise at the top is the greater the more poverty there is to get rid of and in this way it owes a debt to the lower class for its own increase in wealth.

Criticism
I would now like to present some points against this .

  1. Since other factors determine the low point of the economy of a nation such as war the increase is not there to improve the lower well being but to reform the wealth production system.
  2. Growth after satisfaction of necessities in the nation by economic means would be replaced by growth based on innovation. These are fundamentally different modes. Any developments may be outshun by developments in other countries who have better export mechanisms.
  3. There are countries where oppulence is the norm

Visions

In the beginning of the football match I played another game and suddenly I knew that the game will make the Spanish winners. A bit later I -unremembered the score of 1-0.
This was certain in my mind as if I had read the news already.

So this has given me a chance and a pointer to write down some of the visions i have concerning the future. Most of them came when in Japan for the first time.

  • Cars getting small tanker automobiles to fill up - your car can call them up when necessary or you can order them with a mobile. They drive up to your car by themselves and attach automagically.
  • Cities get breathing systems to clean up the city air, this creates a dramatic change in the world environmental health. (Tokyo is first. 4 times as many people die from air pollution than from alcohol)
  • Retail automation becomes universal
  • personal flight
  • power lines almost disappear and people start to use portable energy sources - small batteries
  • cities have several levels/floors
  • cities built underwater

Other visions were for the longer term future they included space travel private individual cities.
Flight and levitation with a special suite. Power to create physical objects, tools and architecture.
World peace. Reading minds. Telling truth by reading it from expressions.

Three sources of programs and the next extension

Source 1
Users describe a need for a program and that is modelled by the developer and coded by the programmer.

Source 2
Developers look at the code and find new features and opportunities that would add to existing programs.

Source 3
Developers define a project and find the users for this program online.

When i went to work at a certain software company i got an impression that it had as its nucleus not only an ability to describe the software that it was so that it could be extended from inside the system itself without programming, but that this could happen automatically. Alas I was wrong but this gave me an idea of automated programming that comes from user interaction with the software as it is installed as per the users requirements and in reference to the usage by others of different solutions based on this software. So in this conception i have, software could be created without a specification from an actor.

Enhancing the autonomy

preliminary notes : ( automatic and automated production of every individuals designs empowers people on the individual level where before they had to join in companies to get that freedom.
this is a great change of increase in the number of producer/creators.)

Two real features of actualising Singularity

I think that it is important to note that the developments in computing mainly and in their effect on society and the world and the human worldview as it expands at exponential speed bringing new qualities to exist every 3 years as it is now is likely to go through a major breakthrough as machines that intelligently develop systems are created.
I was hopeful that Japan would develop an AI with the 5th gen Computer system, but the project had collapsed into a plethora of results that did not work together - because they did not have free open source systems thinking at the time.
The common notion is that this breakthrough would create a singularity - a straight line of growth for humans to go up. However there are other curves between the asymptotic curve and the exponential - multiple exponentials, x to x-th power,x to x to x, x to x-factorial that might fit the curve of growth without ever needing or being justified to go asymptotic.

Rather than turn into an asymptotic curve from exponential it would go through transformations or leaps from one Ackerman sequence member function to the next getting ever faster but not quite asymptotic and since it will tend to a limit there will be a limit to the rate of growth.

How reasonable quantifications for that event are formed?
Scenario A
as the machine that develops itself and new technologies that it requires takes over from human inventors it will have an exponential curve of growth that is separate from human developments and steeper.

Scenario B
Machine that autodevelops it will develop in addition to human developments so that over all growth is faster provided that there is tight cross-influence, there could be phenomenal development.

Scenario C
Machine would develop itself and enhance the methods of development, growing exponentially and also producing ever more copies of these , so having another exponential. Because this would be a product of two exponentials it appears now why it gets difficult to improve on that.

Scenario D
The development increase is significant enough to create change above linear in the acceleration of increase itself along with the development of the Machine.

The mostly likely actual outcome would be that each scenario actually comes to life at some point and carries on having its own beneficiaries and cultures.

Just so you don't have to do mental detective work unnecessarily: one is the nature of singularity not appearing as an asymptote (there is just no way for that to happen), the other is the stratification of different cultures using these different tech curves. The corollary to todays results is the nature of business determined development harnessing a minimal approach to a maximum profit gain.

Me the monk

He meditates for the first time and look, already enlightenment there, now he could get rid of anger too.
There is suffering in great numbers in Birma and Tibet. Why this escalation. It is a sign of change, all slavedictatorships last for 80 years and no more.
So China is changing to real democracy in 10 years time perhaps 20 years. If people put in their effort they will leave the top down rule far behind until their hum becomes a nonsensical and irrelevant buzz from a past age just like it was in the Warsaw countries.

I have been praying for world peace and attempting all my best to imagine such a world so that my thoughts would be like a path for future reality. May everyone be blessed who follows a compassionate life without violence and who helps others who still suffer from violence.
And read some Michael Nagler.

Japanese Impressions

I feel there are many things that might be written about here.
My morning escapes to far counties from my home, when I visited the temples that I met, went to the next city once, and walked to another city once a month to meet people with similar lives to mine.

I went to a local church which turned out to be Pentecostal, I left when the pastor turned to be a smoker and made rude comments, liking me to a crow, and crow does not convey a nice image in Japan, although it is good in Estonia. I think that no once who has an addiction should be allowed to run sermons. Really any family man could and should take the position form the congregation. I also hope that they would recover soon.

I sometimes went to the sea, often alone. Once I made a cross from a piece of driftwood. I still have it.

Walking around in the local city I found a small and beautiful garden that has a museum of local artists. It was quite beuatiful.

At another time I walked around 60km I think to get to a mountain, I should check it on the net maps. That culminated in finding one of the most breathtaking walks to a mountain temple. Every hill and mountain has a temple in Japan. It was especially enchanting and the light between the trees seemed to have a very impressive angle. The sequoia seemed young, the path was formed of ancient lava that formed steps that were slightly too big for humans. When I returned I got lost when it got dark and after a walk I realised I was walking in the right direction, when I got lost again I decided to ask a delivery company office for direction and although it seemed that they did not understand me, they were eager to help me get home, I tried to speak Japanese however it was too difficult yet I got a lift home which was my luck as I
had a bit of money and he took me to the train station that was only a stop away and I could get something to eat from the train stop shop.

I never got to the mountain. the road was closed for felling old trees i did get very near though and met a family having picnic there and fishing in the mountain stream nearby. I think I recognised the head as a Diet member, he was too shy to foreigners. The daughter gave me two onigiri and a chickenwing, and I think this was the first time ever I had bbq fried potato crisps. That was great, Japanese are welcoming and very helpful to everyone really. There was a monkey sanctuary warning that they might be a bit cheeky, but they remained hidden for the winter I guess, it was still quite warm for me.

REply to reality

as it is the state of the ecology of the earth is so damaged that if a human represents humanity he is an artist who pours acid on a painting. The demise is certain and fast is the destruction that surrounds as just there in the nature where most people from cities almost never walk.

not enough
http://video.stumbleupon.com/#p=vmw8lh779d

the other part is democide, even if countries move towards more peace between each other there are conflicts aroused in each country and the conflicts in one seem to be reproduced elsewhere.

On divinity

I met a website which scams people with petty argument to debunk god.
One of the main arguments ran
Why is there so much evil and suffering if there is god?

There are two obvious answers, God is not omnipotent over all matters although his power is immense. However immense power suffices to describe an entity by its deeds who creates a solar system and runs life on one of its planets.
There are numerous references to lack in his achievements running the course of creation and the initial time after that. This also shows correlation with the translation of Gödels theorem into the objects and events of the real world.
It is the human life which develops happiness.

Corollary
It is only now believable that humans really could be able to walk this path of god. To create living lifeforms. To populate other planets with these lifeforms. To create intelligent lifeforms. To aid them in ways which they would find unsurpassable. It is feasible or just now possible in around 2010.

On happiness

Hapiness relies on three things - Friendship, Freedom, Analysis according to Epicure. Where freedom also includes freedom from economic depravity in other words autonomy.

Analysis provides the continuing meaning of life.

I think taht there is at least one other and i would like to introduce dereification - formation of the world according to our ideas, application of knowledge, creating something.

Friendship is the basis for freedom, in that it needs both compassion and help or reciprocity for living. While a freedom would enhance any friendship.
Freedom in turn is a basis for Analysis. The source of the knowledge as well as self-honesty need freedom. The public of analysis needs free connection to the author of the analysis

Living healthy

The world of freedom as it is bounded by the various and diverse forms of vices shadows existence as it could really flower with the living human in pro-biotic life.

If the choice to exist and consume consumes life itself on almost every step then freedom is limited in its objectives.

Life is not just a bout freedoms or living healthily. It is advancement and so that this does not end up with more limits, it is about spiritual advancement.

Healthy life also provides a boundless joy of being.

Creation

Then it came to the turn of men to create, animals, plants, humans, planets.

I have thought of this as a cycle.
being - essence - notion
I have taken these and related them to another stream of development where the last is bestowing cognition or creating something with cognition. so that AI development can be said to be an encognisement of computers.
Encognisement of humans has been going on throughout history.
creation - procreation - encognition

New year 2008

the blog has had a pause.

void gets filled soon.

Recent developments on cancer research have created possibilities for a real cure.
  1. gene to switch off cancerous cells
  2. nanotubes that kill cancer cells when heated with radiowaves
  3. carrier protein for spread of cancer can be switched off
  4. dca could turn on mitochondria so restarting cancerous cells to normal life.
i thought of this and i think it is really amazing, however in a larger view this as any cures just help to sustain life better. The big amazing things begins when we can give new meaning to life and attain the capability to express it.
