Once a system is created and truth is achieved one can reject it like a ladder that is unnecessary once one is on the next level.
I think that was one of the ending arguments(of Tractatus Philosophicus of Wittgenstein), and if i am wrong then even more philosophy would result from that mistake.
I disagree, if the ladder was to disappear suddenly how would you come back to earth, how to teach it to others, and even if you were not to come back, you need it to reference your reality, and that is most important. If you remember a door and it does not exist anymore , because it has been rejected what would you found such a claim on, what would differentiate you from a madman? What would support your claim to such credit?
